Will my 8 speed Sh*mano 2200 ( comes before Sora, in the Sh*mano groupset heirachy) 8 speed STI shifters work a Tiagra 9 spd FD/RD running through a 9 spd Tiagra hollowtech2 crankset?

An 8 spd shifters will not run a 9 spd mech but if your block is 8 spd you can lock out the 9th on the mech so it will be runing as an 8 spd.

Spandex, as I thought, so not really worth it? think I'll save a bit more money and go for a full groupset, nothing wrong with what I currently have on the winter hack, but always looking to upgrade LOL!!!!
