Compact(shallow drop) handle bars

Hi good folks

Can anyone give me helpfull advice on compact(shallow drop) handle bars, i was thinking of getting either FSA compact Omega or FSA k-wing compact to fit to my new bike for 2 reasons one my hands are small and i'm finding it difficult to reach the controls with my ergo fittied bar and also i've heard the compact bar give you a more comfortable hand position.

Has anyone out there have any experience of compact bars and would you recomend?

I'm keen on the Salsa Bell Lap bars - short reach and narrow drop.
The drops have a very slight flare outwards too.

What you're looking for is touring or randonneur bars: shallow drop and often with a slight rise from the centre, as TheDoctor describes.

I have K Wing on my Spesh.

3 1/2" outside reach round bars to brake levers. Grip with thumbs and pull levers with index and second fingers.

That's the spare room. To maximise space, I bought bunk beds. My son sleeps below when he visits and my best bikes and kit live on the top bunk.

You though it was Alice's bike.
