That looks very similar to one I bought down here for fifteen quid , (frame only), it had the same chromed chain stay but forks also chromed, same Aele tubing too which is quite heavy. Its an entry level model but non the worse for that.
If you look at the number under the bb you will get the date, mine was '89..
I should think you do need extra room in your workshop for all these bikes. Be careful though as you might get a request for it to large enough to accommodate a bed .

Quite different fork crowns though. I’d say @Cycleops is a bit more up-market.I would say it's the same model as well
