As long as I breathe, I attack.
Wish i had worn some overshoes today , just got back from a 35 miler and my hands and feet were cold and even though my average pulse rate was 150 i was not sweaty.
I should have stuck arm+legwarmers and a base layer rather than just bibs shorts + ss jersey

Did a 24 mile hilly route today but it was very nippy along the front at Morecambe at the beginning. I keep a windproof/showerproof in the rackpack so it helped a little. Once away from the coast it was quite pleasant.

Started out at about 5 degrees C this morning, with Bib longs, skullcap and a heavy jersey. Unfortunately I only had fingerless mitts with me, and hands were far too cold. After about half-an-hour some life came back into my fingers, and I felt fine from then on in. Unfortunately I had no option to go back for gloves - as they were at home!

8 degrees when i started out at 9-00, the heads of the valleys is very unforgiving when the wind blows, but i was in bib shorts and ss jersey, was a barmey 14 degrees when i finished

42 miles, 2hrs 59mins and 2500ft of climbing......thats how i rolled on this monday bank holiday

I abandoned shorts/Shot sleeved top & arm/leg warmers on the way in tonight in favour of longs again, probably could have got away with the short kit as it wasn't as cold as I'd though once I got going. I wish someone'd tell the weather to catch up though, it is June fer cryin' out loud!
