Im looking for a co2 pump. Now I have a few questions about them. How do you control them once attached to the valve? How do you know you not over inflating the tyre? threaded vs non threaded?

Generally you choose the cannister size for your tyre /wheel type, a 16 g will inflate a road tyre to around 100 psi which is about spot on .threaded or unthreaded just depends on what your make of inflator takes as some screw in or others are held in place by a case .
I do not have this particular inflator but it seems the ultra inflate is liked ..

this link gives you tyre size and cannister size with pressure..

just ordered a lezyne co2 / hand pump combo - have read threads abt co2 leaking out as molecules are smaller, so sems best of both worlds - pump if not in a rush, co2 for when in a hurry or others waiting

i have just replaced my trigger one after i broke it

the turn the knob version worked ok but tbh was a pain, the trigger one from genuine innovations is well worth the etxra cost

One piece of advice for any co2 pump, only attach the cylinders when you are about to use them, first one I had I put the cylinder in, set off on a ride and it was empty when I got back! Could have been worse. . .

Seeing as the FNRttC season is just about to start, I've stocked up on some very cheap CO2 cartridges from Tyre Inflators. £17.99 +P&P for a box of 30 unthreaded 16g cartridges. Should keep us rolling.

On my one you screw in the CO2 bottle put on valve the slowly unscrew the canister to release the gas, inflates in seconds....shocked me the first time I used one how quick they inflate the tyre!

Thanks - http://www.tyreinflators.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1137&category= i run 23mm tyres normally at 115 (front) and 120/5 psi (back) i know that with co2 you need to release and pump back up when you get home/ to a track pump as co2 escapes? but how much does a 16g cartridge do?
it depends which brand you ask! 16g cylinder will get you between 100 psi and 130 psi for a 700x23 tyre depending on who you believe - I have found with various brands that I never get more than 100 psi fully discharged.
