'21st September 2014

After six years of running our annual Spring three-route Cloisters Bike Rides we will now be running our first Cloisters One Hundred on 21st September 2014.

This is a 100 km /62 mile Sportive starting and finishing at the same Stansted Village Hall, but on a different, longer and tougher route, on more of our favourite Kent back-roads. Total ascending is 1172 metres, that is higher than Snowdon (England and Wales highest mountain).

Cloisters regulars know that we feel very strongly about choosing rider-friendly scenic roads, with short steep climbs followed by relaxing long descents, hardly any A-roads, great views and well spaced marshalled check-ins with tasty refreshments.'
