Clipless steelies?

I cycle to see my clients and one of them is an industrial setting so I have to wear safety shoes. Is there such a thing as spd (MTB) compatible steelies?

I'm sure with a bit of creativity, a sharp knife and a drill you could make some cleats fit 'into' some trainer type safety shoes with a bolt through the sole. Otherwise just whack some self tapping screws through the cleat into the sole of your boots! lol!

Doubt it, unless you want to hack up a pair of boots and retrofit the cleats to them.

I commute in steelies, and have done for over 25 years, I use clips and straps, I use the steel clips straightened and rebent to fit the boots, I've not yet seen clipless steelies.
