Clip on saddle bags

Hi all,

These clip on saddle bags that are available with quick release

Is there any way of telling if my saddle is compatible or not really?

Neither of those pictures have the actual saddle clip in them but if you have a saddle with two rails you should at least get the second one to fit. I have it mounted on three different bikes.

Ahh okay, so they come with an extra part (the clip) which isn't shown in the pic then?

Yep. Generally clamps onto the rails with an allen key then you remove what you see in the picture.

i have a mini Topeak
i bought a spare mounting bracket from CRC so i can swop the wedge bag between 2 bikes
it worked but had different dimensions than the original

on my recent Brooks saddle with wider rear rails = only the original clip would fit

I guess most of it depends on my bike having a 'standard' saddle with normal bars under it

The vast majority of saddles have standard rail dimensions and it's 99% certain you'll have no problem fitting one. I'm using one now and it's the third saddle it's been on, all different makes.

I have the clips of the Topeak variety attached to all 3 bikes, all of which have different saddles fitted. No issues with any of them.

I have the Topeak wedge and bought a second mount to easily transfer it between two of my bikes. Both have Fizik Ardea saddles and it fits no problem.
