Clip in Shoes/Pedals

Hi all,

My clip shoes are starting to show their age.

Can any one recommend a pair of shoes for commuting purposes.

Ideally need to be cheap but comfortable.

How many types of clip mount are there for cycle shoes?

Plenty! There are two main types, MTB and road.
MTB includes SPD and Time Attack. For road the most commons are Look Keo, SPD-SL, Time RXS, Crank Bros, Speedplay Zeros, etc....

For commuting SPD is certainly your best bet, very easy to clip-in/out, and the shoes are very easy to walk in.
