Cleats for Shimano PD-R540 pedals ...Where to buy ?

Hi

My new bike (new to me) has come with Shimano pd-r540 pedals on it - Can you buy the cleats for these seperately ? If so where ?

And finally - Will i be able to use the above pedals / Cleats with the Lidle cycle shoes ?

Hmmmmm, after a good search i think ive found the answer - and it isnt good lol.

If im right in thinking - the cleats used with the PD-r540 pedals require a 3 hole bolt pattern and my cheapy liddles have a 2 hole pattern !!

Sooooooo, another question - wuld it be better / cheaper / easier to change the pedals ?

If so - what is reccommended when your on a budget ?

The Lidl shoes are pretty good. Just buy a pair of shimano SPD 520 pedals online (see ebay £15 - £20) and you're good to go.
