Got my delivery from chain reaction, after fighting to get the old pedals off I eventually got to riding with cleats. No disasters so far :-)

Yup, I fell off within 20 seconds of my first ride, I forgot I was clipped in...

Also have unclipped the left pedal and leaned to the right to put my foot down not a pleasant experience

I know exactly what you mean happened to me
My weight went to one side not a good sight

Had another one today in fulham at zebra crossing I couldnt clip out luckily I was falling towards the railings so I just pushed myself from it lol

yesterday was my first cycle commute with clipless too.
stopped at a set of lights and unclipped my left whilst doing so leant a bit to far to my right.
managed to get my foot out JUST in time but spent the next 5 mins giggling to myself.
