Nice bike. Looks like a large 25" frame which might limit its appeal but have a look on eBay to see what similar models go for. Maybe around £300?

After a few more posts you can advertise it on here

I'd say less. The frame size is a big problem. Not many people can comfortably ride it. I bought one for less than £100 a couple of years ago but I scrapped it as it was so badly built. The frame was full of *factory* lead filler to hide tubing dents (no, I couldn't believe it at first) and the steerer tube wasn't in straight, a common Holdsworth fault. There are many reasons we don't mass-produce bikes in the UK any more, and one of them is that we were sloppy and incompetent.

I bought a similar but normal sized one on ebay for £220 last year. It was listed at £275. Components on mine are arguably better - shimano 600 arabesque derailleurs and hubs.

I think 250, give or take each way depending on the location of the ad and the buyer.

Were I in the market - I'm not, although I am tall enough - thats what be looking to pay.

I used the cutter to get the head bearings in three cycles to sit perfectly. The Dawes was perfect, the 70's BSA was spot on and I took so much alloy out of the Specialised I thought I had the tool working incorrectly. The mechanic assured me this was normal.

bobheal, if you would give an indication as to roughly where you live it might tempt someone on here who might be interested in buying the bike to make contact with you. I own a Claud Butler Majestic that has a large frame and I love it. Fit’s me perfectly !
