What's the best way of cleaning custard out of my drinks bottles. The tops/mouthpiece seem to get clogged up & are a real pain to get clean

The custard is ambrosia low fat if that makes a difference

Custard?????? That's a new one.

Hot water and sterilising tablets work for me, but then I'm not drinking custard on my rides.

Mine go in the dishwasher. Apparently, you should throw them out after a while (a year??) but I can never bring myself to do that... so I've got a decent collection of them now.

Got to ask though.... custard?!?!

bottle brush. if you cannot reach the base with that, then fill with water and washing up liquid, thrown in sme dried beans or peas and shake away.

the mouth piece is not so easy.

How do you clean the apple crumble out of the other one?

I find leaving it out in the garden overnight, by the ant hill works works wonders. Just needs a good flush with hot soapy water to remove any last residues.

I had a collection of 'used' bottles that have been thrown at me while watching the Milk race, Wincanton Classic, Nissan Tour, GB World cup round, TdeF and Tour of Britain.

One hit me squarely on the knee and was half full of a foul tasting concoction, which detered me from buying energy drinks - Full stop.
Unless the guy piddled in it before he threw it

I only have one now due to a fit of temper by my EX wife.
It an MG Maglificio.

I was going to suggest the dishwasher too but Yello obviously hadn't noticed that it was Ambrosia not Heinz and so clearly won't work. Sorry Solty but I'm stumped on this one:biggrin:

I did wonder, hence the apple crumble question.

Although the notion of an apple-and-blackberry-crumble smoothie is oddly appealing.
