Claud Butler Road bike from 80's

I have a Claud Butler Road bike that I Have not used for 20 years or so
The gears work - a bit sticky but it looks possible to revamp it - probably a bit rusty esp chain
Got double butted Reynolds 531 tubing.
I am not sure it's worth it
Certainly would not want to spend a lot
10 gears with a smaller than usual smallest chain ring

What do you think?

Go for it, you won't be disappointed. If you are a bit handy with a spanner it shouldn't cost you too much and you will have a bike that will last you for another 20.

i would just go the get it riding route and then go from there , but no reason why its not worth it

if it still fits you, then its worth it. you could spend a couple of hundred on it and still have better value than spending 500-600 on a new one.
