Can anyone date this early-ish mountain bike?. I think it's mid 80s.

I rescued it today, from a neighbours skip.

You can date it by either the frame number or the date code on the rear mech. Around 84-85 would be in the ball park.

Slightly later, appeared in 85 as the "Heron"

Check the Reynolds tubing sticker and the sticker above it. Front tyre is on the wrong way round, check the inside, near the markings on the outside.

Should've left it there! Just kidding, it won't be long before someone says "it sold for how much? I chucked one of those on a skip back in 2015"!
