Did this happen to travel through the lanes around Yalding/Marden ?

If so some of those riders gave us cyclists a bad name. Their knowledge about riding round country lanes was poor and they left their common sense at home. Some of them were coming round bends 3 or 4 abreast. I was cycling the opposite way to a lot of it and got stuck behind at least 3 cars having to take evasive action due to some of those idiots.

Sorry rant over but its got to be some of the worst cycling i have seen and i cycle in London.

I agree there was some poor riding on the ride, apart from what you were saying there was very little communication between riders, I don't think a lot of them had ridden in groups before, we just stayed in a little club group. Apart from the idiots I really enjoyed it.

Well done it was a good route. I use those roads, apart from the dual carraigeway, every weekend. I love 'em

Yes I tend to stay away from Sevenoaks being a hill wimp. Anything south or east if Dunks Green is ok for me and I do my " hill training" if you can call it that around West Peckham. However I love riding all round the flat lands around marden.
