cinema for 12 yr olds

DS1 is 12 next week and wanted to take a couple of friends to the cinema. He was under the impression the next Harry Potter film was due out but it transpires it's been put back to July next year - a bit too long to wait. Does anyone have any other cinemea suggestions, had a look on the odeon website and couldn't see anything else suitable, either too old or too young.

I actually took my two to see it on stage in the summer(their requeest) It was quite fun but I think at the top end of their age so whilst they might watch it when it comes on telly not cool enough to take friends too.

I've got to do the same for my eight year old in early December. There's nothing out there at the moment.

How about the new Bond film?

took my 11 yr old boy to bond he enjoyed it, lost the plot a little but hey ho!
