chrome web links

when I make a post and paste a web link in I like to re-write the link so that it looks less intimidating.

However now when I try it in chrome, the link is only retained in the first letter of the word.

I'm not really sure. I've had a look on the Xenforo support site and no one else has reported this happening.

What version of Chrome are you using? And are you on a PC, Mac, or Linux machine?

I use Chrome on windows7 and it works ok for me.
