Christmas dinner at my daughter's house.

For the first time in literally decades we haven't hosted the family at our house.

My lovely daughter and her husband provided a terrific Christmas dinner and me and mrs Colly have just sat there and been provided for.


I could get used to this.

We have a tradition now for Christmas dinner. The wives do the cooking and serving and the husbands do the washing up. It seems to work well.

My oldest is nearly 15. I fully expect to be enjoying his excellent hospitality within the next 10yrs. All his training is leading in this direction!

i still cringe every time our eldest does the washing up , as i know for sure it will all need washing again before use
