If it result in a situation where poeple finally leave the car for small trips and start cycling, i think the benefits in cost savings on healthcare far outweigh the price tag.£2 billion is a pretty hefty budget. I hope it turns out to be as good as he says.
I totally agree. As Chris says the bicycle is the answerI commute to work on the bike 15-20 mins there 15-20 mins back 5 days a week...not being eco about it ,not bragging its the most sensible way to do it ...
