Chip on carbon forks?

I noticed this on my carbon forks this morning, I think it's a small chip. Is it something I need to worry about? Are we talking new forks? There doesn't seem to be any cracks around it.

I think it might of happened because that side of the bike it locked up to these rails at work every day and I might have knocked it.

What do you think?

Absolutely fine, just blob some black paint on it. PS , those look to have an alloy steerer and crown. The blades will be carbon.

That's a pisser Jay, It's just chipped lacquer. But you're like me and it will just bug the hell out of you. New forks time

if it hasn't got a carbon stearer will be aluminium with the paint and lacquer shouldn't be a problem. have to watch out more for cracks
