@Brava210 here's my bike ad when I bought it. Changed saddle stem and tires.

Money being tight means I have to make do with what I can get.

Full Ultegra 6600 3 years old-ish
Bontrager race aero wheel set (garbage)
Deda blackfin full carbon forks
Ultremo zx tires
Spesh Toupe saddle

So nearly been riding 8 weeks. Decent enough frame... I guess

A bit streched then? I am only 5-7 mines a 52cm
Ooo lush. And your bike is neat as! Should have saved an extra 200 and got one second hand. Dammit. Thinking of getting the same chinese alloy frame in a 52. @125 best i can find and its phsycally in a local bike shop 5 miles down the road. Close enough size.

No its the right size-ish. Im 5 8"/9 but I've always ridden smaller being young, and so Pro" as @400bhp always tells me.

Have you positioned that saddle like that for a laugh, or is that genuinely how you like it?...
Looks very far forward and noticeably pointed upwards.
Maybe move saddle back a bit, make it more level, and buy a smaller stem to make reach easier.
Perhaps cheaper than changing bikes?
If you're doing lots of miles, a pro bike fit might help get it right for you, but if money's tight then maybe that's not an option at this point.
Good luck!

saddle fore and aft doesn't just effect reach though - he may need it that far forward to get KOPS right - my saddle is all the way forward and then i use a 130mm stem, when i had my PRO fitting thats were its was best positioned for me due to having shorter than normal thighs and longer torso........

moral to this is - don't advise some one on their set-up unless you know why its like it in the first place

Was trying to help the chap with position and possibly save money (by getting position correct).
Pointed out it looks unusual (it does based on seeing lots of bikes over my lifetime).
Asked if it was for a laugh (some people have a sense of humour on CycleChat).
Asked if he genuinely likes it like that (he may, for similar reasons to you maybe).
Suggested (not "advised") he "maybe" wish to tinker with position (I tinkered a lot before seeing a pro fitter).
Suggested (not "advised") a pro fitter "might" be able help (it definitely helped me and a mate of mine).
Surely we are allowed to comment on things on CC and try to help people, with a sense of humour too?
The OP took it in the way it was intended, and I've have had banter with him before in other posts.
Moral to this is - don't end your posts with "moral to this is" - it's very condescending

to many assumptions - your assuming he hasn't already done all this based on the pic of the bike on an ebay photo, were already stated that he had changed saddle, stem and tyres

but hey ho

How dare you question the setup of a bike that is outside the norm! Don't do it again. :ninja::rofl:

Don't feel silly.
Just to summarise for you:
- Banter with Jason (as per previous posts with him)
- Not advice, but generic position thoughts which may or may not have helped a fellow CC'er
Let's end it there and stop clogging up Jason's thread, thanks
