Boy its cold out there today. i couldn't see where I was going half the time with my eyes watering so much.

Has anyone got snow yet ?

I don't envy everyone who has to commute to work tomorrow
Still I'm glad I went. At least i can feel good about myself tonight as I stuff my face with roasties

Now then where the devil has it gone?? if I don't have a wee soon I'm going to have an unfortunate accident:blush:

Had brief flurries of snow all day, here in Eastern parts. There's a light dusting that is staying on the ground so far. Got a fire going in the grate tonight.. out of heating oil!

Just took the dog out in the snow which has been off and on here (mostly off). Blue skies in most directions but snow on the ground, lovely! Apparently tomorrow we're having a lot more which will be fun xx(

Oh, and no chilly willy here

A fire!!!! Bliss I will have one when I get home!

It's roaring away nicely now, and MrWC, who has been bicycle mechanic-ing all day is installed on the sofa, glass of red wine in hand and cat on lap. I will join him soon, once dinner is prepared, of a real Winter-warmer of sizzling sausages a-top bubble & squeak and lashings of gravy (none of this namby-pamby 'jus' twaddle...) xx(

Must be the right weather for that sort of meal. Uncle James is looking forward to his Toad In The Hole with local outdoor-reared pork sausages (the pork is outdoor-reared, not the sausages), lashings of mash and some nice hearty gravy!

Thank God we managed to get a new Boiler installed last Monday. Broke down the week before. £1,350 all in. Not bad.

being warm and toastie is worth any price. I'd burn my furniture rather than be cold;) My geriatric boiler keeps making threats to break down:angry:
