Anybody seen or heard of one. I just picked up what looks like a Roadster frame identical to the full size but with 18" centre to top and a cross bar.

I've searched for more info on Roadster frame sizes with no success.

I've seen a BSA, just a scaled down version of typical 1930s lady's roadster with (I think) 20 x 1 1 3/8" wheels.

I believe some manufacturers made a 24" wheeled roadster as well.

The smallest full size one with 26" wheels I've seen is a 21" frame. Most adult versions seem to have been 22", 24" or 26" frames. Remember that people rode massive frames before the war.

Hi Bryan, I just replied to your pm. It will take 26" wheels but there would be no room for mudguards so I suspect 24s... I threw a pair away from a 50's ladies loop frame BSA about 2 weeks ago!!! Doesn't that always happen!! I'm a bit uncertain about the headbadge, what was left of it was one of the later coloured Raleigh birds rather than the earlier silver ones.
