Child Seat Issues

Hi All

I have recently bought a Ridgeback MX3 and the reasons for buying this was to help with fitness and also to buy a child seat to take my 2 year old out with me. I have been told by a company whom i wanted to buy a seat from that because I have seat tube routed cables no child seat will fit my bike.
is this the case at all?

I had the same issues but the seats by co-pilot fit onto a supplied rack that doesn't foul the cables, instead of clamping onto the seat tube. Should be fine for you but not the cheapest out there...but you do get a rack thrown in

the halfords one i have might fit, although the bracket for the seat would have to 'wrap around' the cabling, but they should still be ok.

failing that, there are seats that can be mounted onto a rack, so you can still go down that route if the type of seat above is unsuitable.

Thats good value - wish I'd found that when my daughter was small enough :'(
