Just had my number and timing chip turn up. Glad I went for the short option, I havent been able to get much training in

Looking forward to it, doing the 100 miler, no number as yet though. Training going well I think. Off to try a 25 mile 2 up time trial today, that will be a first in so many ways!

Got my number through today! I'm number 8000, which was a slight surprise as I thought there were only around 3000 entries! I'm going for the middle distance and I will be trying (without much hope) of getting cleanly up Mow Cop! One year I will achieve it, but still feeling a bit heavy to have too confidence of it this year.

Mine's also arrived (#7521) - doing the 74 mile middle distance.

Over the next two Saturday mornings my route's being varied to include Holme Moss as practice for this and the Brian Robinson Challenge on 29th April.

It is the 100 miler that I have entered for. I was quite unaware that it was allowed to sell your place, especially since they were rather shirty about issuing a refund when I last contacted them.

in the letter that came with it, they stated 3000 entries so far. Not sure why the numbers therefore go so high. Maybe some blank numbers as some form of fraud prevention???
