Do you mean the Strawberry Line? (Yatton to Cheddar) .. if so I would say it was fine (though its several years since I was last on it and my memory is not the best!)

We went on it last summer, a mix of skinny tyres and chunkier ones. Didn't have any problems.
(Oh, and the coffee stop at Yatton is *fantastic*. Excellent service and superb cake
