In a few years time I think a lot of cameras will be of this size.

Thomas, you can get a waterproof cover.

I'm in Vietnam atm, but when in thailand you could buy this in some of the big shopping centres at a rgeasonable discount. Goin back to Bangkok tomorrow so might have to look for a mini helmet camera  - treat myself.

Not a bad bit of kit, got one a few months back. They come with a silicon cover - but this renders it to bulky to fit in the helmet mount [doh].

Great for fair weather recording though. Worth a punt now they are £20-£30 cheaper.

Can make them 'shower resistant' with carefully applied gaffa-tape over the slots.

See the end of the sample video clip to get an idea of the quality. The resolution may be ok, but the lens is rubbish. You can see how distorted it is just panning round - now imagine how much worse it'll be on a bike!

Not the best lens [plastic], but watch-able - can pick out car number plates as vehicles drive past, getting the optimal angle set on the helmet mount is a bit tricky.
