I was giving the bikes a bit of TLC this afternoon, part of which was putting new sealant in the tyres. I noticed on the hardtail rear tyre that it had a couple of patches where the sealant had worked its magic, and on counting found no less than fifteen healed holes. The front had three. I then checked the rear on the big bouncer, and found 31, and two on the front. So I run tubeless and ride on a mixture of natural bridle ways and trail centres, and a lot of it is rocky stuff. I tend to run low pressures as a bit of a Clydesdale, but by my reckoning that's about 18 months' worth of riding, and I have not had to stop and patch tyres a massive fifty one times.
