You know the sort, few energy gels,, bars, tabs and a bottle for next to nothing?
Not seen any advertised for a while?

Does anyone ever pay full price for those High5 gels? I've had so many free bottles that I could build myself a little raft!

I seem to have lost most of mine?!?!?
left at football, gym bags and children!!
Had a cupboard full at one time, now have one left in garage with something unidentifiable and smelly in

Each of the kids have one, I chucked one the other day as it'd accidentally been left for a few weeks or so - not even twice in the dishwasher and a soak with bicarb could clean it out. Now I'm down to about two, as long as I don't lose, grow anything in them, or give them away I'll be okay. For now.

Finally got round to using some of the gels and energy drinks which came with the hi-5 bottles and I have found them very useful.

I did a 65-miler and had 2 gels on the way home in the pouring rain. I was really tired & they perked me up nicely.

Did a 51 miler last week on one of the energy drinks too, as well as the cake stop, and I think I felt the benefit.
As for the bottles all the family use them from time to time. They are a good size too - 750ml.

I agree, I can't abide having almost any food in my belly on rides so tend to use the gels and powders instead, and have always done well on them.
