Cheapest new B17 saddle?

There was somewhere selling them online for thirty five quid when I didn't want one, now that I do I can only find them for around the fifty quid mark.

Am I looking in the right places or have I missed the boat?

I just paid £70 for a B17 imperial.

Is that the one with the cutout?

I'm sure it's perfectly safe but having never tried one I'd be worried about trappage, I've used saddles with cutouts before but they have a more rounded edge to them.

I thought they were aswell, ive just looked and i think they have gone up.

I have 1 from SJS that cost me 35 quid but I just can't get on with it Longers. PM me if you fancy it - I even got a tin of that Brooks proofide stuff that I'll throw into the bargain. The saddle was purchased in June but has spend it's time on my hybrid that I have hardly rode on in recent months, so maybe 100 - 150 miles on it - tops.

Yes it is.

From what I have read, some people do feel the edges of the cutout section when seated. Others don't. Hopefully I'll be in the latter category I don't notice the cutout on my Specialized Avatar so maybe I'll be ok.

I have to try the world of Brooks for myself though, so many people rave about them!
