Cheap new bikes?

Someone in Manchester has been running a Bike Project for a group of sanctuary seekers, teaching people to ride bikes and road safety.

They are looking for donated bikes for them to ride, if they can't find enough donated bikes what are the cheap but good quality new bike options still out there? I know when I've previously dipped into this thread there was a Decathlon mentioned. The bikes will be for transport rather than sport, if that affects the answer.

Go and speak to local bike shops as they might offer discount on the basic bikes, my lbs does a range from £150

Maybe worth asking them. Don't know where in the UK their workshops are and they could be expanding their bike sales into other shops.

( P.S. I've seen a few bikes in one of their shops, but apart from that have no connection with the charity)
