Charnwood forest charity ride

Just signed up for this http://charnwoodforestcycleride.co.uk as my first sportive/ charity ride .All profits go to a local charity . Going for the 50 miler a nice route over Charnwood forest and up the Wreake valley .Free cakes at the end . All roads are local to me and I know the route well . Came across the riders last year and it seemed well organised and we'll marshalled and signed . Any other Leicestershire riders fancy it

OOh Bradgate park, i spent many a day there in my youth as my mum is from mowacre (?) hill , i am doing my 1st sportive for many a year too the week after yours as the start is maybe 3 miles from my house.
Going for the medium 72 miler ....

I live a mile from Bradgate park and often commute to work through it ,how lucky am I .
Yes doing this as star is 3 miles from home . Yours looks a nice route
