On Rockrider wheels, they're 26", not sure of the width, but the bearings are f**ked, they're loose ones and measure 6.37mm. Now if I new ones in what about the faces/seats that they'll sit onto, if they're buggered how do they come out....or is it new hubs

New hubs TBH. The races usually get pitted and they are part of the hub. Usually new wheel time. My commuter I use hand built wheels that also use cartridge bearings, so the lot is re-buildable.

Usual sizes for hub ball bearings are 3/16 inch front and 1/4 inch rear. (10 balls per side front and 9 per side rear)

Are the races pitted? If not you can just replace the ball bearings and regrease/adjust.

Usually the cones pit first and these are generally available seperately (ask in your LBS as there are loads of different bearing cones and you need exactly the right ones). If the races in the hubs are pitted, then I'm afraid it's new hub time.
