Changing GXP to shimano for shorter cranks

I want to try shorter cranks. I have a praxis gxp BB. I am thinking of changing to a shimano crankset for greater options. Can I do this by retaining the current BB and changing the asymmetric 22 bearing up to 24 as the shell is 68mm wide. Or am I missing something?

Wouldn't it be simpler to fit the appropriate Hollowtech bb? They don't cost much and they both screw into the same size shell. 🤔

If you're going from GXP/SRAM to Shimano crankset, then you'll need to swap over to a Hollowtech BB.

I think it would be simpler to swap a 22mm bearing to a 24mm one rather than change the whole thing. Its a press fit conversion.
