I have a set of carbon rims, which i would like to use again. The rear carbon rim has cracked, although the spokes and all other components are in excellent condition. The front wheel is running perfectly aswell.

Is it possible to change over the hubs from the rear to the front wheel? Ideally i would like to use the current front wheel as a rear wheel and purchase an additional zipp wheel for a front wheel, but have no idea if this can be done!

No idea about Zipp carbon wheels, but in the case of standard wheels this is possible.

I think a few guys over on timetriallingforum have done this with Zipps and Planet Xs. Pretty sure the rims are the same, so you would just need to find a hub with the same number of spokes.

As dom says, no reason why it can't be done - the only exception I can think of is where rear rims are asymmetric such as some of the Campagnolo range.
