Changing a tube - how hard can it be ?

How's this for last night's temper tantrum?

We've moved house. My Orbea Onix carbon frame racer has been in storage for 18 months. New tyres needed. Fitted three days ago, together with new tubes. New tyres (Duranos) extremely tight on the Campi Vento wheels. Pinch-punctured one tube struggling with multi-tool tyre levers as all others still boxed up. Out for a spin and all OK. Last night, bike in dining room, BANG-HISS rear tyre flat. Curious. Stripped off tyre to find tube punctured on spoke recess. New tube fitted. Pinch-punctured...... hmmm... temper rising...... re-stripped tyre, new tube..... another pinch....... hmmm...... WTF I've changed tubes a MILLION times...... OK, patch repair first tube... wait for glue to dry, reinstall tube... inflate... BANG-HISS........ patch blown off....... that's it, walk away... by this time my good lady has taken herself to bed in a huff over the swearing.... I go to the loo and jam my finger in the door ! WTF again.......

So, does anyone have any tips for getting 700/23 tyres back onto Campi Vento (G3) wheels without hurting themselves or the tubes ? I've never had so much trouble changing a tube before.... Help my blood pressure (and marriage) can't take much more of this......

Don't use levers, push the bead into the centre of the rim and ease the tyre on gradually.
Buy folding tyres.
Put some talc on the bead to lubricate it.
Check your rim tape is fitted properly.
When you apply a patch, wait until the glue is almost dry before putting the patch on.

Thanks guys..... glue was dry (well dry to the touch) before patch went on.
No way could I push the tyre back over the rim, it was just too tight.
Folding tyres were an option from internet, but my LBS is run by my Fiancee's nephew's ex-girlfriend's son, so I thought I'd pit some money his way, and he only had rigid tyres in stock..... I was surprised he had Duranos to be honest.......
Var Tyre Tool (and 2 new tubes) it is then... oh, and some talc....

You say the tyre punctured on the spoke recess. You have rim tape right?
I've had that when the tight tyre (Continental Grand prix "supersonic") moved the rim tape when fitting the tyre on, cured by swapping to cloth glue on rim tape

Yes I have rim tape on, but like raleighnut suggests, it might have moved when I put the tyre on... when I took the punctured tube off, the tape had moved, and was folded and creased in places. I'll be getting more before I replace the tubes now. I checked the spoke recess for a sharp edge, but the wheels are pretty well engineered and I've not had a problem with them in the 5 years I've had the bike.....
