Change of inner tubes?

My current tyres are 700x28C

The inner tube box says:
Fits 700x20/28C
27x3/4"-1&1/8"

Will I need to change the inners when I get 23mm tyres fitted?
The LBS says no. Does anyone concur?

no. erm yes erm i agree.

your tubes are fine in the range from 20c to 28c so all will be rosy

there's tolerance anyway. I use 26" x 2.1 - 2.5 (or whatever the biggest size of halfords inner tube is) on my 2.6. before you ask no i don't buy halfords inner tubes by choice only 'cos they were 3 for 2 and needed some that day)
