Chamois Butt'r

I was in Dale's Cycles in Glasgow today - wow what a shop, I could have spent a fortune.

However, I restrained myself and spent 75pence, on a sample pack of chamois butt'r, to see if my derrier will feel the difference.

What's been your experience of it, do people recommend it?

I go there to look around,everything seems so expensive but good for ideas

I always use it on longer rides. It doesn't make anything less sore but does eliminating uncomfortable chafing.

My OH uses the Assos one, which is expensive, but has eliminated the chafing she was getting without it.

I don't seem to have had any problems with chafing so far, so I haven't used any, but I certainly will if I do have problems.

After making my own from the following website, I would use no other now, I found this far better than any I have used in the past, including Assos. Due to its cheapness, I use it on almost every ride, and when I don't, its only because I forgot too.

I used to use bodyglide on long runs, then took up cycling and followed the Assos advice, still assore so went back to bodyglide, far superior.......
