These have been that price for ages. I've had plenty of FSA stuff in the past and it's perfectly fine and comparable at a lower price point to shimano etc however all became clear when it was explained to me, or I read, that FSA has to massively inflate its retail prices in order for people to believe it's 'better' than it is, to buy the bikes (where the absolute majority of their sales come from) that their chainsets come on (typically shimano equipped); I mean, my 105 5800 bike has a £150 rrp FSA Chainset instead of the 90 rrp 105 one, it must be better. They are obviously a cost saving method for seller and buyer and thus one would deduce not quite as good/desirable as the shimano groupset it supports
