I cleaned my chain the other day and it's so clean you could eat your dinner of it. I used dry lube on it after cleaning it then went for 60mile ride. The chain now is noisy and won't change into my highest gear all that well??? Any ideas???
Cheers

Can't link the 2 personally. But try and index the gears to solve the shifting, and all I can suggest is re lube. Just out of interest what dry lube you using and was the ride out on wet roads
The only other thing that springs to mind is maybe a stiff link or slightly twisted link.

Did you get all the cleaning agent out of the chain internals before applying your dry lube. I am wondering if the efficiency of the lube was compromised.

Dry lube won't work properly unless the chain is totally degreased and dry before application. I leave my chain in the airing cupboard after degreasing and before applying dry lube. After degreasing and drying once you can apply more dry lube, but you need to strip the whole lot off and start again every now and then.
