Chain missing link question

I want to put a missing link into my chain on my Felt QX 65 Hybrid.

The spec sheet on evans says this bike has a Shimano UG51 7/8 Speed chain, but when I looked at the chain on the bike it says is KMC Narrow on it and what looks like a Z but thats all.

I found this missing link here -> CLICK ME which is listed as suitable for the Shimano chain but I dont know if it would fit this one.

I see pin length mentioned but as I have no idea what this chain is I dont know what pin length I need.

Armed with x you need to buy a quick link for an 'x speed' chain.

It is a 7 speed but there are different pin lengths available for the 7 speed chain for instance one site I just looked at lists 7.1mm and 7.3mm pin lengths both are for a 7 speed chain.

.2mm? I doubt I could put a traditional pin in with a chain tool to that degree of accuracy.

iirc 7.3 is Shimano HH & 7.1 IG.

Does your chainset give you a clue if it is HG or IG?

No the front chainwheel just has suntour on it and I cant see what it says on the rear cassette, it is too dirty.

I may have to take it off and clean it and see if I can tell what it is.
