Chain lube and degreaser ??

Hi all.
Another noob question but this site has been very helpful to me in recent times .

I have recently fitted a new chain to my hybrid and was wondering if I could use a standard degreaser to clean it and then lube with some GT85 with ptfe which I can get in a good deal ??

GT85 is better than nothing but not generally recommended long term.

Either buy some specific chain lube, or save yourself £££'s and use chainsaw oil

Chain lube and degeaser? Easy, Car engine oil and Kerosene.

Just remember that, whatever degreaser and lube you end up using, remove all traces of degreaser from the chain before applying the lube.
