Chain Links

Anyone able to advise me here?

I have the following Shimano chain (8 speed):

I'm looking for a suitable chain link; will SRAM links do? ie these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=871

the srma links will be fine.
I prefer KMC links as they are easier to split ime

Just make sure you order the correct ones for the width of chain you got.

i've always wondered this too...

I have a trek 4300 with 'factory chain'. It's 24 gears, so I should be able to use either SRAM or KMC links, providing I get the 8 speed version of the links...
...right?

It doesn't have to be an SRAM chain to use the SRAM links, and KMC chain for KMC links?
