Having read up on the lubricant Chain-l for chains, I thought I would give it ago to see how it compares with Finish Line wet which I have always used, I bought some and on my first ride out today, I was amazed how quiet the drive train had become, all the little rattles etc which I used to search high and low for on my bike had gone apart for a very little ticking noise which I think comes from my BB. I never knew how much noise a chain could make and all I could hear was the tyres on the road for once. The oil itself is very thick and it's supposed to last for at least a 1000 miles before reapplying, smelling it though its just like the gear box oil we have at work, in opacity and colour as well, but its supposed to have been designed for bike chains.
All I have to do now is see if the life of the chain is increased as its claimed to do.
