I've recently acquired a Centurion road bike from my nephew, who claims it was owned by a well known competitive cyclist somewhere in Europe. He got it from the son of the popular cyclist who claims it was willed to him.
I am having a difficult time in assessing exactly what year and model I have.
The component group is Shimano ultegra (9 speed cassette with a short throw rear derailleur). It has a 3 sprocket chainring, a carbon fork, red aluminum welded frame (56cm) with wide cross section down tube. The logo on the front steer tube is not a standard Centurion logo.
The rear brake cable runs through the inside of the top tube..
The decals were pretty thrashed, so I removed them. They were big fat yellow block letters, with the largest "centurion" logo covering each side of the downtube. I'll attach a couple of pics when I get back home.
