Lost 3 stone since March. Started at 16 st.0 weigh every Friday and tipped the scale at 13st 0 today :smile::smile:.

Mainly down to cycling and some small changes in diet.Still have a few bottles of wine and a few beers per week and the odd takeaway,Im not that self disciplined.

I know this should be in health and fitness but wanted to do a bit of bragging:biggrin:

Doesn't sound like you need to be self disciplined with that weight loss!!

That is an excellent achievement and I agree with the others: it's an inspiration for anyone just starting out. Bet you're a whole bunch fitter as well.

Losing 3 lbs is an effort, so very well done. You are obviously determind.
Dave.

Outstanding effort! I'm happy at the mo as I am 15st 5lb, the lowest I've been for a while. My aim is to get below 15 st which is the maximum I should be for my height (6ft 5in) according to BMI charts. Mind you, we're having fish 'n chips fer tea tonight, a very irregular occurrence in this house I can assure you, but so mich for good intentions......

Great, what's the celebration though? I tend to find most are fattening

Got about a stone I would like to shift after quitting smoking last year, don't suppose the Mars Bars today will have helped much though!

Well done Banjo, that's a result! How much cycling are you doing per week to achieve that weight loss?

I've only been cycling for a few weeks, I'm at the stage where I haven't lost any weight yet (which is my ultimate goal) but I am already feeling WAY fitter, and am having an absolute ball on the new bike. Threads like this just boost my confidence more. Thanks for sharing your good news!
