Just seen it announced that Mark Cavendish has been confirmed in the line up to start the Tour of Britain. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Must admit, I struggle to get excited about/interested in ToB, and I am a keen viewer of racing on continent on telly. Always seems to be p1ssing down or cold and miserable during ToB.
Same applies to Halfords city centre series (is it even Halfords still?) whereas I used to avidly watch city centre racing in 80's.
I also used to quite happily watch Kelloggs tour, even ridden out to a few stages, but ToB doesnt seem to cut it for me somehow.
Anyway, whinge/moan/rant/whatever over, its good that he is riding
