Hi all. I had a rear blowout today, luckily in the last couple of yards of my ride, coming down the drive. I'm running Schwalbe Kojaks, 700x35, with the rear at about 80psi (they're rated to 90psi). The sidewall had split a couple of cm widthwise, and there was a bullet shaped hole in the inner about 3mm in diameter:
Other than that, the rims are in good nick with the tape covering the spokes well. The drive itself is quite a washboard, which I guess caused it to go when it did. Anyhow it's my first blown tyre and one is enough. I guess my main question is, this a failing of the inner which has gone on to blow the outer or visa versa?
