I've got a CATEYE TL-LD250 rear light that has given up the ghost. I've had it nearly three years now but it stopped working about a month ago. I've changed the batteries but still have nothing. I've since read a review that they are poor when it comes to water ingress which could be true as it stopped working after a particularly wet ride.

My question is, are CATEYE products guaranteed for life ? I'm sure I read it on one of the forums here but can't find it now. I've looked on the CATEYE website but it doesn't mention anything. BTW, it was bought from ChainReaction.

Thanks.

Cat Eye lights are not good quality and aren't cheap either. Be grateful you got 3 years out of it. Better lights are available for less money.

I find Cat Eye computers OK though.

I get dimming out of rear cateye lights, to me that suggests there's a build quality issue. Think my next year will be a Mars if the fitting is all right.
